What is Tilmicosin?

Tilmicosin is a kind of relatively new macrolide antibiotics specially used for livestock and poultry by tyloxin semi-synthesis, and its chemical name is 4A-O-deoxy (2, 6-dideoxy-3-C-methyl-L-ribose-pyranhexyl) -20-deoxy-20 - (3, 5-dimethyl-1-piperidyl) - [20 (cis: Trans) ] tyloxin, molecular formula C46H80N2O13, molecular weight 869.15.
