What is  Ivermectin 99%  ?


It was discovered in soil by Japanese microbiologist Satoshi Vougmura in 1973 and it was successfully isolated and cultured in a laboratory, as shown in Figure 2. It was discovered by Satoshi ō mura that the fungus can produce parasitoid compounds. Under the assistance of Merck's proprietary drug screening laboratory, researchers completed the purification and identification of the active ingredients, naming them Avermectins in 1975. William C. Campbell, an American scientist dedicated to parasite research, modified the chemical structure of avermectin to obtain a safer and more efficient ivermectin. In 1981, ivermectin was approved for marketing in animal husbandry, agriculture and aquaculture (trade name: Mectizan). A few years later, ivermectin proved to have potential for human health applications. It was registered in 1987, and patients were soon offered free use as society struggled to control Onchocerciasis, also known as river blindness, which is endemic in poor tropical regions.

Ivermectin has good effect and safety on nematodes, insects, ticks and other parasites when used in small doses. Launched in 1981, it was quickly used in animal husbandry around the world to protect against nematodes and other infections. It was registered for human use in 1987 and was immediately donated for the treatment of onchocerciasis and lymphatic filariasis. Since its launch, the massive drug donation program has helped 1.5 billion people. The latest figures show that around 186 million people worldwide still need treatment each year, and around 112 million have access to drugs, mainly in the African region.


Ivermectin has been a huge success for 40 years and is being investigated by various research institutes. Unfortunately, its mechanism of action remains a mystery. Moreover, although parasites in animals quickly developed resistance to ivermectin, no resistance occurred in humans, even among those who had been taking it for 30 years.




Bacterin is widely used in gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms and parasitic arthropods of cattle, sheep, horses and pigs, intestinal nematodes of dogs, ear mites, scabies, heartworms and microfilariae, as well as gastrointestinal nematodes and ectoparasites of poultry.

The above phenomenon was most obvious in ticks 5 days after a single subcutaneous injection of 0.2mg/kg or daily feeding of low concentration (0.01mg/kg).
